The newest Toyota Crown
As a reminder, the new Crown lineup includes the Crown Crossover and Crown Sport models, which differ significantly from the upcoming sedan. The sedan adopts a classic transmission layout with a longitudinally mounted engine and rear-wheel drive, while the other models in the lineup are front-wheel drive with a transversely mounted engine. The latest Toyota Crown stands out from the rest with its distinctive features, and here's what we know. The dimensions of the Toyota Crown sedan measure 5030 x 1890 x 1470 mm, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. It is built on the TNGA-L platform, shared with the Lexus LS and the Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Inside the cabin, you can see a digital instrument panel, a multimedia system, numerous analog buttons, a compact gear selector, and a second-row armrest with a touchscreen display. The seats will also feature ventilation function. The Toyota Crown sedan will be equipped with a hybrid transmission with an internal combustion engine, but the prototype showcased a hydrogen powertrain similar to the new Toyota Mirai Sport.
