The iPhone 12 is being built 24/7
According to the South China Morning Post, Foxconn builds the iPhone 12 at its Zhengzhou Foxconn Factory continuously — 24 hours a day. At the same time, employees are asked not to take vacations and go out for Assembly on holidays and weekends.

According to data received directly from the company's employees, the factory canceled vacations, introduced mandatory overtime work and began to provide additional bonuses for employees who work overtime. For example, if a person who got a job in a factory after September 18 works at least 55 days for three months, they will be paid a bonus of almost $1,500 in addition to their salary. Those who got a job at the factory after September 26, under the same conditions, also get a bonus, but less — $1250. The "old" employee is promised a bonus of only $75.

This mode of Zhengzhou Foxconn Factory is due to the rapid start of sales of the iPhone 12 — the premiere of the new product will take place on October 13, sales — a few days later. Of course, Apple now needs to fill its warehouses as much as possible with devices whose demand promises to be unprecedented.
