Panasonic has announced new LV and SV series of their portable computers using a bundle from Intel hardware platform and Windows 10 operating system. Panasonic LV family laptops are equipped with a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Panasonic SV series devices received a 12.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels. The maximum configuration based on the Core i7-8550U. This Kaby Lake R chip contains four processing cores with the possibility of simultaneously processing up to eight threads of instructions. The nominal clock frequency is 1.8 GHz and the maximum is 4.0 GHz. A part of the processor comes with graphics accelerator Intel Graphics UHD 620. Laptops can carry up to 16 GB of RAM and a solid-state module with a capacity of up to 512 GB is used. Both computers are equipped with an optical drive. Thus, for Panasonic LV it is possible to install a DVD or Blu-ray drive, and for Panasonic SV — DVD recorder.
