MSI introduced the Commercial 14 laptop
MSI has unveiled the Commercial 14 laptop at the Computex exhibition. It is designed for the B2B market and offers features for corporate security and remote work. Additionally, it is partially made from recycled plastic.

The exact model(s) of processors used in the Commercial 14 is not specified, but it is known to feature an Intel Core i7 13th generation chip. The laptop has a 14-inch screen with an FHD+ resolution of 1920 x 1200.

Among the laptop's notable features are an NFC reader and an e-ID card slot. These enable employees to access the system by simply tapping their access card on the laptop or inserting it into the slot. The available specifications list does not mention support for Windows Hello, but there are a couple of elements above the screen that resemble an IR emitter and an IR sensor, which could potentially be used for facial recognition system unlocking.

The top case is made from post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, and over 90% of the packaging is composed of recycled paper. This environmentally friendly approach may appeal to companies committed to sustainability.

In addition to the Commercial 14, MSI also showcased the high-performance Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport laptop, a result of collaboration with Mercedes-AMG, as well as other models designed for gaming, work, and creativity at Computex.
