Global cameras sales continue to decline
GfK released the results of a study of the world market of cameras in the first half of this year: the demand for digital cameras is falling both in monetary and quantitative terms. In the period from January to June inclusive cameras brought 3.9 billion euros. This is 11% less than the result for the first half of last year. If we consider number of cameras sold, the drop in sales was even more significant - it's about 15%. As the supply of compact cameras (even with large sensors) decreases, interest in system cameras, on the contrary, continues to grow along with the average price tag.
