Atomos recently released an external video capture card called Connect. The small device has an HDMI input and connects to a USB port. You can use it to stream in real time or to record to your PC any camera or other device with an HDMI output.

The maximum resolution of the input signal is 4K with a frame rate of 30 fps, the output stream can be up to 1920 x 1080 pixels with a frame rate of 60 fps. 8-, 10 -, and 12-bit color representation depth is supported. The card receives power from the USB port. With dimensions of 64 x 28 x 13 mm, it weighs 21.4 g.

When used with Atomos Shogun7 cameras, users can switch between four cameras connected simultaneously.
