Essential develops a smartphone with artificial intelligence
The company Essential, which was founded by the father of the Android operating system Andy Rubin, intends to create an unusual mobile phone with artificial intelligence technology. The Essential company is the developer of the smartphone Essential Phone PH-1. This device has a cut-out display in the upper part, where the selfie camera is located. The screen is 5.71 inches diagonal and has a resolution of 2560 × 1312 pixels. The equipment includes a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4 GB RAM and a dual rear camera with 13-megapixel sensors. The launch of Essential Phone PH-1 was ruined by delays and negative reviews of the owners. The company planned to improve the situation by releasing a second-generation smartphone, but its release was later canceled. As Bloomberg now reports, Essential is designing a phone with a smart assistant. It is assumed that this device will receive a relatively small display, but its size is not specified yet. The intelligent assistant, conceived by Essential, will be able to perform certain actions, for example, respond to text messages or emails. Owners will be offered to interact with the phone mainly due to voice commands. It is difficult to say how successful the new Essential project will be.
