CPU Allwinner V316 aimed at the 4K action cameras
Allwinner has developed a processor V316, designed for use in sports cameras with the ability to record high-definition materials. The product includes two computing cores ARM Cortex-A7 with clock speed up to 1.2 GHz. Provides the image processor HawkView 6.0 intelligent noise reduction. Work with H. 264/H. 265 materials is supported. Video can be recorded in 4K (3840 × 2160 pixels) at 30 frames per second. It is noted that the chip Allwinner V316 also allows you to shoot videos in Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) at a speed of 120 frames per second. When you select the HD format (1280 × 720 pixels), the frame rate reaches 240 fps. Chip Allwinner V316 is produced using 28-nanometer technology. The claimed power consumption is 2 watts when recording video in 4K high definition. Processor Allwinner V316 will be the basis of low-cost action cameras.
