Volkswagen Buzz 2025
Volkswagen has unveiled the new electric microbus, the ID. Buzz 2025, in North America. It significantly differs from the previously released model in Europe.

Volkswagen stated that the new vehicle has been adapted to meet customer requirements with a larger battery, longer wheelbase, increased power, and more seating capacity.

Its dimensions measure 4887 x 1979 x 1895 mm with a wheelbase of 3239 mm. It is 175 mm longer than the two-row version. The interior can accommodate up to seven passengers in a standard 2-3-2 seating arrangement. The second-row seats can slide forward and backward by up to 200 mm and fold in a 60:40 ratio. The second and third rows can be folded, and the rearmost seats can be completely removed.

The power output is 282 horsepower for the rear-wheel-drive version and 330 horsepower for the all-wheel-drive version, with a maximum speed of 160 km/h. The battery capacity is 91 kWh.

Heated seats are included as standard, and the windows of the second and third rows are tinted. The ID. Buzz features the largest roof hatch among all Volkswagen Group offerings. The optional panoramic roof, measuring 1712 mm in length and 1036 mm in width, can transition from opaque to transparent using electrochromatic technology.

The VW ID. Buzz 2025 for North America will be available in multiple colors in Europe and some exclusive colors in North America, including Cabana Blue, Metro Silver, and Indium Grey.

Standard equipment includes power-adjustable seats, a heated steering wheel, power-sliding windows, power-adjustable and heated rear-view mirrors, ambient lighting, and a power-operated trunk door. Throughout the cabin, there are eight USB-C charging ports, a 110-volt socket at the front, and a traditional 12-volt socket in the cargo area.

Faster, more powerful, and more spacious than the original model, the Volkswagen ID. Buzz 2025 has been introduced.

Sales will begin in 2024.
