As planned, Vivo announced the Z3 smartphone on October 17. The design of the model refers to the latest trends, that means a display with an aspect ratio of 19: 9 and a drop-shaped cutout at the top, which houses a 12-megapixel front camera with an infrared scanner face. The screen is made by Super AMOLED technology, has a resolution of Full HD+ (2280 × 1080) and occupies 90.3% of the front surface of the device. On the rear panel there is a fingerprint sensor and a vertically oriented module of the dual rear camera with a resolution of 16 and 2 MP sensors.

Vivo Z3 is presented in three versions. The most affordable is priced at $230 and includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of flash memory. Two other versions received a single-chip system Snapdragon 710 and 6 GB of RAM, differing volumes of the built-in drive-64 and 128 GB. Their price is $274 and $330

Both chipsets used in Vivo Z3 are based on Kryo 360 architecture, contain eight computing cores and are produced by 10-nm process technology. The main differences between them are the increased 200 MHz clock speed of high-performance cores and a slightly more powerful graphics subsystem in SD710. Also integrated in this chip, LTE modem supports download speeds of 800 Mbps, while SD670 provides a 600-Mbps data transmission.

Of the features of the Vivo Z3 should be noted proprietary technology Dual Turbo. It includes the System Turbo and Game Turbo functions, which are responsible for speeding up the loading of applications and improving the gameplay. The source of power for all modifications of the new item is the battery with a capacity of 3315 mAh. Sales of the smartphone with pre-installed Android 8.0 Oreo OS will begin on November 1.
