Venus Optics is preparing to release a full-frame lens with tilt and shift functions
Making a reservation that the lens is still in development, so its final characteristics are unknown, the source claims that the novelty has already been tried with a 44 x 33 mm sensor, that is, with a Fujifilm GFX camera system. The test showed that the vignetting is negligible. The user can expect to shift the frame diagonally by 7-8 mm, and vertically by 11 mm. It is not yet clear whether the product tested is a Laowa 15mm F4.5 W-Dreamer lens, whose images, given as an illustration, appeared at the very beginning of the year. This may be a different lens, since the Laowa 15mm F4.5 W-Dreamer only has a shift function, and the new lens is referred to by the source as a lens with shift and tilt functions. However, you should not draw any conclusions before the official announcement. It remains to recall that Venus Optics already has a full-frame Laowa 15mm F4 lens with a shift function, released in 2015, but a vertical shift of ±6 mm is only available when used with APS-C format cameras.
