Externally, the cooler has changed very insignificantly, so they decided not to change the name. However, for example, the number of heat pipes has increased to eight compared to six in the first generation. Additionally, the gap between the fins has been reduced from 1.9mm to 1.6mm. Two 140mm fans of the new generation will be responsible for airflow, although details about them are not yet available. All of this together should make the iconic cooler slightly more efficient, although even now, almost 10 years after its release, it is one of the most powerful CPU coolers on the market. Despite the demonstration, the release of the new product is still far away: Noctua plans to release the cooler only next year. | |
