The PC GPU market has collapsed by 43%
According to analysts at Jon Peddie Research, the GPU market for PCs saw a year-over-year decline of 43% in the first quarter of 2023.

GPU shipments for desktop PCs decreased by 40%, while laptop GPU shipments dropped by 45%, nearly halving the numbers.

When considering the overall GPU market, including integrated GPUs (iGPUs) in processors, Intel continues to dominate with a market share of 68%, while AMD holds 13% and Nvidia accounts for 19%. Over the year, Intel's market share has significantly increased, while Nvidia and AMD have experienced a decline. Video cards continue to decline. The PC GPU market has plummeted by 43%.

Analysts also assessed the processor market. The data indicates a distribution across segments: 31% for desktop CPUs and the remaining 69% for laptop processors. In the previous year, the shares were 27% and 73% respectively.
