Today, the official premiere of the Moto Razr 40 Ultra foldable smartphone took place in China. In this new generation, the "flip" design has become much more convenient due to a significantly larger external display with a diagonal size of 3.6 inches. Moreover, for the first time, the refresh rate of the external display on a smartphone of this form factor is 144 Hz. The resolution is 1066 x 1056 pixels, and the external display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7.

Both the external and internal displays are pOLED panels. The internal display features a 6.9-inch diagonal size, Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, and a peak brightness of 1400 nits.

The main camera of the Moto Razr 40 Ultra consists of two sensors. The primary sensor is 64 megapixels with optical image stabilization (OIS), and the secondary sensor is 13 megapixels with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera features a 32-megapixel sensor. The Moto Razr 40 Ultra is equipped with stereo speakers and supports Dolby Atmos.

The hardware foundation of the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, accompanied by 8/12 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of storage. The device has a 3800 mAh battery capacity and supports 33W fast charging. It runs on Android 13 with the MYUI 6.0 interface.

The Moto Razr 40 Ultra also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP52 protection, a 5G modem, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC chip, and a USB-C port.

The device will be available in three colors and two configurations: 8/256 GB for $800 and 12/512 GB for $900.
