The first tests of the Intel Meteor Lake processor: the result is worse than that of the Core i7-1165G7
The first test results of the Intel Meteor Lake processor lineup have finally appeared online. However, it should be noted that these are preliminary results based on an engineering sample.

The tested laptop was an MSI model that the company brought to Computex 2023 and equipped with this CPU. The processor is known to have six big cores (the maximum for Meteor Lake) and ten small cores.

In the Cinebench R23 benchmark, this processor scored 4261 points in the multi-threaded mode. This is a relatively low score by modern standards, as even the Core i7-1165G7 performs much better. However, it is important to note that the CPU was only running at 21% load and seemed to be operating at a frequency no higher than 640 MHz. It is evident that such low performance results cannot be representative of the processor's actual capabilities.
