LTO-9 technology has increased the capacity per cartridge by 50% compared to LTO-8, and the data transfer rate by 15%. If you go to absolute values, the cartridge volume is 18 TB, and the speed is 400 MB/s. The capacity of LTO cartridges will continue to increase with the release of future generations.
