Sony Master Series TVs
Sony has presented at CES 2019 the latest TVs-panels Master Series 8K HDR ZG9 and OLED-model 4K series AG9.
The ZG9 family includes giant devices with a diagonal of 98 and 85 inches. The resolution is 7680 × 4320 pixels, which is 16 times higher than full HD displays (1920 × 1080 pixels).
The powerful x1 Ultimate processor with its patented operating algorithm has been optimized for handling 33 million pixels. In addition, this processor supports a specially developed technology 8K X-Reality PRO, which improves the quality of any content to a resolution of 8K.
The ZG9 models have a Backlight Master Drive system, which includes ultra-dense LED modules with independent control, which provide unsurpassed contrast with deep shadows and the highest brightness. To make the most of the backlight, 8K x-tended Dynamic Range PRO technology is provided: this system uses the stored energy, intelligently increasing the brightness in areas where it is necessary.
The AG9 series on organic LEDs, in turn, includes TVs with diagonals of 77, 65 and 55 inches. They are made in an ultra-thin body. The resolution is 3840 × 2160 pixels.
AG9 panels are equipped with x1 Ultimate processor. Implemented Pixel Contrast Booster technology that enhances color and contrast in bright areas. The Acoustic Surface Audio+ system creates a comprehensive sound transmitted across the entire surface of the screen.
