| According to ET News, Samsung intends to grant their smartphones a medium level wireless charging pad. Not so long ago, the head of the mobile division of Samsung DJ Koch said that the company intends to introduce advanced features in the devices of the middle class, not only in the flagship device. This is expected to increase smartphone sales and increase the profits of the respective division. As it has now become known, one of the new features in the mid-range phones will be wireless charging. Moreover, the South Korean giant intends to release a relatively inexpensive charging station for such devices: its cost allegedly will not exceed $ 20. Characteristics of the upcoming wireless charging station is not known yet. It is noted only that it will provide a power of 10 watts. According to IDC estimates, 342.0 million smartphones were sold worldwide in the second quarter of this year.
