Razer company brought to CES 2019 its updated gaming laptop Blade 15. The Blade 15 Advanced variant received the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 series graphics accelerators along with a long-requested webcam supporting Windows Hello face identification technology.

Razer Blade 15 Advanced will be available in variants with GeForce RTX 2060 (6 GB GDDR6), RTX 2070 Max-Q (8 GB GDDR6) or RTX 2080 Max-Q (8 GB GDDR6) graphics cards. All advanced models are equipped with a 6-core processor Intel Core i7-8750H 8th generation (Razer has already used it in the old version of Blade 15), 16 GB of RAM and can be configured to a version with an SSD capacity of 512 GB.

In addition, the advanced laptop version has become thinner (17.8 mm versus 19.9 mm for the basic version), although it now supports only one SSD drive, not two, and has lost its Gigabit Ethernet port (apparently, in order to save thickness, it is proposed to rely on Wi-Fi). The advantages of Advanced include the ability to adjust the backlight of each individual key, rather than areas on the keyboard, as in the basic version.
