Palit released GeForce RTX 2070 GameRock and JetStream
Palit Microsystems released its first own graphics accelerators of GeForce RTX 2070 class — GamingPro OC, GamingPro and Dual. Due the simplicity of their design, the company lost customers among the most demanding consumers, so along with the above adapters Palit will soon offer four more video cards — GeForce RTX 2070 GameRock Premium, GameRock, Super JetStream and JetStream. All of them are United by a three-slot design, the presence of RGB-backlight and rear reinforcement plate.
Each of the new accelerators occupies 292 mm in length, 130 mm in width and 59.6 mm in height. A set of video outputs is standard — trio DisplayPort 1.4, single HDMI 2.0 b and USB 3.1 Type-C/VirtualLink. Power connectors for connecting PSU cables two — 6 - and 8-pin PCI-E Power. Palit recommends using a power supply of 550 watts or more in a system with GeForce RTX 2070 class cards. Note that the GameRock Premium model consumes more than other members of the family: 215-250 W against 185-220 W.
The cooling system of the new products combines a decorative casing, a pair of fans of size ~100 mm, two sections of aluminum fins of the radiator, several copper heat pipes, auxiliary plates-radiators for cooling the VRM area and memory chips, as well as the rear reinforcement plate.
Ten ("8 + 2") power phases with the use of highly integrated DrMOS elements are soldered on the printed circuit boards of the considered graphics cards. The presence of each model backup VGA BIOS chip will allow those wishing to experiment with overclocking, while having the opportunity to restore factory settings.
Sales of Palit GeForce RTX 2070 series GameRock and JetStream cards will begin soon. In Western Europe, the possibility of pre-ordering is already open: prices start from €589.
