Palit became the second manufacturer of graphics cards presenting a new version of the graphics accelerator GeForce GTX 1060 memory type GDDR5X. Previously, a similar graphics card to its range added Gigabyte.

The GeForce GTX 1060 GamingPro OC+ got 6 GB memory GDDR5X with a bandwidth of 8.8 GB/s to contact, together with a 192-bit bus throughput of the memory subsystem 211 GB/s. For comparison a conventional GeForce GTX 1060, in fact, as the above version from Gigabyte, bandwidth is 192 GB/s.

The manufacturer does not specify this, but most likely, the new product uses a stripped-down version of the graphics processor Pascal GP104, instead of GP106, inherent in the standard GeForce GTX 1060. Like the original model, the novelty offers 1280 CUDA cores. The GPU clock speed of the GeForce GTX 1060 GamingPro OC+ graphics card is 1531/1746 MHz.

For heat dissipation in the new graphics card is responsible cooling system with a height of two slots, which includes an aluminum radiator with three heat pipes and two fans. For additional power, there is one 6-pin connector. Three DisplayPort 1.4 ports, one HDMI 2.0 b port or one DVI-d port can be used to display images.

Video card Palit GeForce GTX 1060 GamingPro OC+ will go on sale in the near future, but the cost is not yet specified.
