Other World Computing (OWC) has announced the Thunderbolt Hub docking station for modern laptop computers: the new product is already available for order at an estimated price of $150.

The device is aimed at systems that support the high-speed Thunderbolt 4 interface with a bandwidth of up to 40 Gbit/s. When connected to a laptop, up to 60 W of power is transferred, which allows you to recharge the battery.

Three Thunderbolt ports based on the USB Type-C connector are available for peripherals and external high-speed drives. You can connect devices in a chain. In addition, there is a USB 3.2 Type-A interface with a data Transfer rate of up to 10 Gbit/s.

Two 4K displays or one 5K, 6K, or 8K monitor can be connected to the dock at once. This way, users can create a multi-display system with the required configuration.

The station itself receives power from the electrical network via an adapter. The novelty is made in a silver-black case. Deliveries will be arranged this month.
