In addition to the long-awaited GeForce RTX 2060 NVIDIA today introduced no less long-awaited mobile graphics cards of the new generation, built on Turing GPUs. At the moment, the new generation of discrete NVIDIA mobile graphics includes three graphics cards. Is accelerator GeForce 2080 RTX, RTX GeForce GeForce RTX 2070 and 2060. Each of them is available in a full standard version, as well as in a slightly reduced frequency, but more energy-efficient version of Max-Q.

All mobile NVIDIA graphics cards of the new generation are built on the same graphics processors and have the same amount of memory as their desktop versions, and differ from them only in clock frequencies. Thus, the older GeForce RTX 2080 has 2944 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with 256-bit bus. The GPU clock frequencies of the standard mobile version are 1380/1590 MHz, while those of the Max-Q version are lowered to 735/1095 MHz. The effective memory frequency is 14 and 12 GHz respectively.

The level of TDP in a significantly reduced GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q is 80 W, while in the standard mobile version this figure will reach 150 W and in some cases may be even higher. Ray tracing performance is reported to be between 37 and 53 RTX-OPS or between 5 and 7 billion rays per second.
