New Toyota Alphard

New Toyota Alphard
Live photos of the new generation of the iconic minivan, the Toyota Alphard, have appeared online. The official premiere of the vehicle is expected in July, but the car has already been revealed in the photos, along with the platform-sharing minivan, the Vellfire.

The new Alphard model retains its iconic feature - the massive radiator grille. Moreover, the grille may even become larger. It will still be integrated with the headlamps, and the fog lights will be incorporated into the distinctive inserts in the lower part of the bumper at the corners.

While the Alphard's radiator grille features trendy three-dimensional elements, the Vellfire's grille has large horizontal bars. The design of the rear part also differs between the two minivans.

According to preliminary information, the vehicles will be built on the TNGA-K platform, similar to the second-generation Lexus LM. They will have redesigned interiors, new options, and new powertrains. It is likely that the Alphard will no longer have a six-cylinder gasoline engine - the engines will exclusively be four-cylinder, either turbocharged or with an electric boost.
