Samsung is preparing to launch the next generation of flagship smartphones in 2021. The upcoming line is expected to be named Galaxy S21. The publication Gizmochina gives the first details about the oldest model of the new series — Galaxy S21 Ultra.

It is known that the smartphone will get a main camera with a 108-megapixel sensor. In total, the flagship will have five cameras. At the same time, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will install a new generation of sensors — Samsung ISOCELL HM2 instead of HM1.

The device will support video recording at a frame rate of 240 fps in 1080p, 120 fps in 4K, and 30 fps in 8K. The device screen will have a resolution of 1440p with a refresh rate of 120 Hz or 144 Hz.

It is expected that the Galaxy S21 will be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging. The company is already developing the appropriate technology.

In total, Samsung should introduce three smartphones — Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Devices will be built on the basis of Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100 processors. The release of new gadgets is still a few months away, so the exact launch date of the next Galaxy S line is not yet known.
