MWC moved from February to the end of June 2021
The year 2020 has been very challenging for the smartphone industry and many other industries. Governments of all countries have taken strict measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Because of this, many exhibitions and press conferences were canceled and held online.

The largest exhibition Mobile World Congress, which has been held in February every year for more than 30 years, was also canceled due to the coronavirus. Many companies had to hold their own events to present their new devices.

GSMA, which is the organizer of the event, announced that next year the Mobile World Congress 2021 exhibition will be moved from February to mid-summer. According to the plan, the exhibition will be held in Barcelona from June 28 to July 1.

According to John Hoffman, CEO of GSMA, Mobile World Congress unites the entire industry. He said that partners and clients will remain committed to their work, so that next year's conference in Barcelona will be a huge success.
