Microsoft has introduced a budget laptop Surface Laptop Go
Microsoft today added the Laptop Go model to the Surface line of mobile computers. The novelty turned out to be inexpensive by modern standards (from $550), while the platform is a full — fledged Intel Ice Lake.

To be more precise, the device uses a Quad-core Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor with a frequency of up to 3.6 GHz, which supports multithreading. The basic version has 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB eMMC module. But for a surcharge, you can order a version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB ($700) or 256 GB ($900) of flash memory.

The touch screen is characterized by a diagonal of 12.4 inches and a resolution of 1536 x 1024 pixels. The cover is made of aluminum, but this is the only metal element in the design of the case. Everything else is made of polycarbonate.

The configuration also includes a web camera that supports HD video recording, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters, a standard headphone Jack, and one USB-C and USB-a port each. In versions more expensive than the basic one, there is a fingerprint scanner — it is built into the power button.

The claimed autonomy is up to 13 hours, while the delivery package includes a charger with a power of 39 watts. The weight of the new product is 1110 grams, the thickness is 16 mm.
