The hardware of the Surface Laptop Go runs on an Intel 10th-generation Core i5-1035G1 processor with 4 cores (1.0/3.6 GHz) and 8 threads. The amount of RAM is 4 GB, and the eMMC drive has a capacity of only 64 GB. It is the amount of RAM and storage that is the main drawback of the laptop. The Surface Laptop Go has one USB-C and USB-A connector, a 3.5 mm audio port, and a special Surface Connect for charging and connecting accessories. The 720p front-facing camera does not support Windows Hello face identification. Security is provided by a fingerprint scanner built into the laptop's start button.
