LG V40 ThinQ: five cameras and a QHD+ OLED FullVision screen
LG Electronics (LG) officially introduced the flagship smartphone V40 ThinQ, rumors about which in recent months appeared on the Internet.
As expected, got five cameras. It is argued that the smartphone was designed for advanced capabilities of photography and video recording.
The rear camera brings together three of the module. It is a unit with a 16-megapixel sensor, a maximum aperture of f/1.9 and ultra-wide-angle optics (107 degrees). In addition, a telephoto module with a 12-megapixel sensor, a maximum aperture of f/2.4 and a field of view angle of 45 degrees is involved. The third unit is equipped with a 12-megapixel sensor: the maximum aperture is f/1.5, the angle of view is 78 degrees. Implemented fast focusing system Dual PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus). Also mentioned is the dual led flash.
The front camera brings together two of the module. This is an 8-megapixel block (f/1.9; 80 degrees) and a 5-megapixel block (f/2.2; 90 degrees). The device has a variety of shooting modes.
The QHD+ OLED FullVision display is 6.4 inches diagonal. The screen has a resolution of 3120 × 1440 pixels, an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 and a pixel density of 538 PPI (dots per inch).
Core of new device is Snapdragon 845 processor. The product contains eight Kryo 385 compute cores, an Adreno 630 graphics controller, and a Snapdragon X20 LTE cellular modem. RAM LPDDR4x equal 6 Gbytes. The capacity of the UFS 2.1 flash drive - 64 or 128 GB; you can also install a microSD card.
The equipment includes wireless adapters Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 5.0 LE, NFC module, high-quality audio system, fingerprint scanner, FM tuner, USB type-C 2.0 port.
The power supply meets the battery capacity of 3300 mA·h with fast charging Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. Dimensions are 158.7 × 75.8 × 7.7 mm, weight-169 grams.
The smartphone is water- and dust-proof (IP68 standard). In addition, it refers to the case of high strength (MIL-STD 810G). Applied Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
LG V40 ThinQ will be launched October 18 at a price of $900. Customers will be able to choose between several color versions: New Aurora Black (black), New Platinum Gray (gray), New Moroccan Blue (blue) and Carmine Red (red).
