Iconic iPod nano era is gone
Apple has updated its list of obsolete and retired products. The main innovation was the appearance of the seventh-generation iPod nano in the list of obsolete products.

This is the last player in the iconic iPod nano line that has not yet been included in the list of obsolete products. the seventh-generation iPod nano debuted in mid-2015 and is the latest model in the series.

The fifth-generation iPod touch media player, which debuted in October 2012, is also on the list of obsolete and retired devices.

Apple refers to "obsolete" products that were discontinued more than 5 or less than 7 years ago. At the same time, Apple service centers, including Apple retail stores, continue to service the hardware of outdated Apple computers, iPhones, iPads, iPods, and Apple TVs, depending on "the availability of necessary components or within the framework of current legislation." Simply put, repairs are made only if spare parts are available.
