Huawei Watch 4 is the world's first watch with a non-invasive blood glucose meter function
Huawei has started selling the Chinese version of its Huawei Watch 4 series. Unlike the global versions of Huawei Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro, the Chinese models come with a unique non-invasive blood glucose monitoring feature.

Chinese users can purchase the watches at the following prices (the price varies depending on the design, casing materials, and bracelet):

Huawei Watch 4 Venus White (white leather strap) - $412
Huawei Watch 4 Moon Black (black fluororubber strap) - $384
Huawei Watch 4 Saturn Brown (brown leather strap) - $412
Huawei Watch 4 Pro Jupiter Brown (dark brown leather strap) - $484
Huawei Watch 4 Pro Mars Titanium (titanium bracelet) - $569
Huawei Watch 4 Pro Blue Earth (blue composite strap) - $520

The non-invasive glucose monitoring algorithm collects data from heart rate monitoring and ECG. To assess the readings, the user is required to wear the watch continuously for 7 consecutive days.

In addition, the watches offer health features such as arterial stiffness detection, skin temperature measurement, ECG, blood oxygen level monitoring (SpO2), fall detection, and more. Both models are water-resistant up to 5ATM, include GPS, support eSIM and NFC, and come with a built-in microphone and speaker for communication.

The watches feature a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display. The Huawei Watch 4 comes in a 46mm stainless steel casing, while the Watch 4 Pro features a 48mm titanium casing. The base version offers up to 14 days of battery life, while the Pro version can last up to 21 days on a single charge.
