According to Counterpoint calculations, in the second quarter of this year, Huawei led the world with a share of about 20 %. In second place was South Korean company Samsung with about the same indicator, followed by Apple, Xiaomi and OPPO with shares of 11 %, 10 % and 9 %, respectively. At the end of August, the undisputed leader was the South Korean giant Samsung, showing a result of 22 %. Huawei is now in the second position: the share of this company has fallen to 16 %. "Bronze" went to Apple — 12 %. China's Xiaomi is still in fourth place with a figure of 11% at the end of last month. Huawei's share is likely to continue to decline for the foreseeable future.
