HP Inc. presented premium chromebook with ceramic case
Monday, October 8, HP Inc. presented premium chromebook, made in a hybrid form factor. Due to the fact that the cover of the model HP Chromebook x360 14 leans almost 360 degrees, the device is transformed from a laptop to a tablet and back, and also takes position for easy viewing movies and presentations.
Notebook is equipped with a 14-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and an eighth-generation Intel Core processor (I3 and i5 chips are available). The amount of RAM is 8 GB, the capacity of the built-in flash drive eMMC — 64 GB. For graphics processing meets the integrated Intel Graphics UHD 620.
The manufacturer claims up to 13.5 hours of battery life in the "mixed" cycle. There are stereo speakers Bang & Olufsen, a pair of ports USB-C and USB Type-a (the first can be used to charge gadgets), microSD slot, 3.5 mm audio jack, wireless modules Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac.
With a thickness of 15.2 mm and a weight of 1.7 kg HP Inc. calls the new product its thinnest hybrid chromebook. It is powered by a 60W·h battery, has a front camera with HD matrix and an array of stereo microphones.
The HP Chromebook x360 14 will be launched October 21, 2018 at a price of $600 or more. Each buyer of this chromebook is provided with 100 GB of free disk space in the Google Cloud storage. Portable computer will be available in white and blue colors "ceramic".
