Honor presented 90 Pro
Company Honor has unveiled the Honor 90 Pro smartphone today, with its main highlight being the display. It supports a PWM frequency of 3840 Hz and has received TUV Rheinland certification for flicker-free performance, even for individuals with highly sensitive eyes. Yesterday, we demonstrated that it outperforms the Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 14 Pro in this aspect.

The Honor 90 Pro features a non-flickering display that surpasses the quality of the screens on the Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 14 Pro, along with a top-of-the-line camera. Introducing the Honor 90 Pro.

According to the international standard IEEE Std1789-2015, when the screen's flicker frequency exceeds 3125 Hz, stroboscopic flickering poses no threat to human eyes. However, the currently prevalent PWM frequencies in flagship devices, such as 2160 Hz, 1920 Hz, and 1440 Hz, are still noticeable.

The Honor 90 series display boasts a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, supports the rendering of 1.07 billion colors, and offers a 10-bit color depth. The Honor 90 Pro utilizes a 6.78-inch screen.

The Honor 90 Pro is equipped with a 200-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.4-inch optical format, supporting pixel binning that combines 16 pixels into 1, resulting in an equivalent pixel size of 2.24 microns. Additionally, it features a 12-megapixel ultra-wide macro lens and a 32-megapixel telephoto lens for portrait photography with 1x, 2x, and 2.5x zoom modes.

On the front panel of the Honor 90 Pro, there is a 50-megapixel dual portrait camera that supports 100° ultra-wide-angle shots. The minimum focusing distance can be as close as 2.5 cm.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and comes with a 5000 mAh battery, supporting 90W fast charging.

The Honor 90 features a 6.7-inch display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, a 200-megapixel camera, the same battery capacity, and 66W fast charging.
