After recent release of its new Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 Xtreme 8G Gigabyte Technology announced the upcoming market launch of three more boosters with the prefix Aorus on NVIDIA Turing chips. According to official announcement, one of the debutants will be the card Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 8G. The other two new accelerators will be Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Xtreme 11G and Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11G.

The Gigabyte Aorus GeForce RTX 2080/2080 Ti graphics card Quartet combines a three-slot design, the presence of at least two 8-pin PCI-E Power connectors (it is possible that the Ti-versions will have a third connector), multi-zone RGB-illumination and seven video outputs. Despite the absence of a pair of new Xtreme consoles, all debutants will receive factory overclocking, with the only difference that the "extreme" cards GPU frequency will be slightly higher.

In addition to the reduced relative Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 Xtreme 8G core frequency, its more affordable version can be equipped with a GPU with a lower ASIC Quality, which can affect the overclocking potential. In addition, the selection criteria for GDDR6 memory chips may not be as strict as the Xtreme version.
