GIGABYTE is preparing a video card Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Xtreme WaterForce
GIGABYTE will soon present a rather interesting version of the graphics accelerator GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. According to resource VideoCardz, the Taiwanese manufacturer is preparing a video card GeForce Aorus RTX 2080 Xtreme Ti's latest elaboration.
The main feature of the new product is its cooling system, represented by a water block of full coverage. It has a Nickel-plated copper base that removes heat from the GPU, memory chips and power elements of the power subsystem. The upper part is made of acrylic and is equipped with a customizable RGB-backlight. G1/4"threaded holes are available for connection to the coolant circuit. On the back side of the printed circuit Board is fixed reinforcing plate.
The Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Xtreme WaterForce graphics card is built on the same PCB as the Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Xtreme. This means that there is a power subsystem with 16 phases for GPU and 3 phases for memory. For additional power, there is a pair of 8-pin connectors.
Not without factory acceleration. Boost - the frequency of the NVIDIA TU102 GPU was increased to 1770 MHz from the regular 1545 MHz, but what is even more interesting, the memory frequency also increased, however, only to 1767 MHz from the regular 1750 MHz. Note that at the moment no other graphics card GeForce RTX 2080 Ti from any of the manufacturers do not offer overclocked at least some memory.
Another interesting feature of the Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Xtreme WaterForce is its extended set of video outputs. Here has just three HDMI 2.0 and 1.4 b, DisplayPort, and VirtualLink.
The recommended price and release date of GIGABYTE Aorus GeForce Ti RTX 2080 Xtreme latest elaboration has not yet been announced. At the moment, in the UK it is possible to pre-order for 1500 pounds.
