| GELID Solutions introduced a new processor cooling system called Sirocco. The device is positioned as a high-performance cooling system for Intel and AMD processors. Cooling system GELID Sirocco is built on six copper heat pipes in a U-shape with a diameter of 6 mm. These tubes pass through a copper base which is in contact with CPU, and using a fairly large aluminum heatsink. The dimensions of the radiator are 118 × 126 × 160 mm. Device can be used with AMD processors in the performance of Socket AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2, AM4, as well as with Intel chips in the performance of LGA 775, 1366, 1155, 1156, 1150, 1151. According to the manufacturer, the GELID Sirocco cooler is able to cope with processors with TDP up to 200 watts. So it can be used for overclocking. GELID Sirocco cooling system is already on sale, and its recommended price is 53 euros for the European market and $62 for the US. | |
