Fernando Alonso sells his Ferrari Enzo
Famous Formula-1 driver and endurance racing world champion, two-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, Fernando Alonso, plans to sell his Ferrari Enzo at an auction in Monaco in June.

Monaco Car Auctions announced on Monday its plans to sell the Enzo Chassis n.1 (meaning chassis number 1) at the L'AstraRossa event on June 8, along with the Ferrari Classiche Red Book, confirming its authenticity. The car has only driven 4,800 km since its purchase.

Alonso drove for Ferrari from 2010 to 2014, long after the Enzo production had ceased. According to one version, Alonso is not allowed to drive a car from a competing automaker as he currently represents Aston Martin.

Ferrari produced only 400 units of the Enzo. On average, such a car is valued at over $1 million on the market. According to Monaco Car Auctions' estimates, Fernando Alonso's car is expected to be sold for more than $5.4 million during the June 8 event.
