Facebook instagram, WhatsApp, And Messenger apps are no longer supported by Tizen
Facebook has removed its main mobile apps from the Tizen Store content store. Facebook instagram, WhatsApp, And Messenger mobile apps are no longer available for installation on devices running Samsung Tizen OS. This step was announced a few months ago, so it is not unexpected.

It is worth noting that already installed Facebook apps have also stopped running on the Tizen platform. For example, when you try to open WhatsApp, a message appears stating that the device is no longer supported and you need to switch to another platform to continue using the messenger. It is noteworthy that after appearing in the Tizen Store, the WhatsApp app was the most frequently downloaded on the platform. This is primarily due to the fact that WhatsApp was the only major messenger available on smartphones with Tizen. Other Facebook apps also featured in the list of the most popular products for the platform.

Given that new smartphones with Tizen have not been released for several years, Facebook's decision can be considered quite natural. In total, Samsung has released only four models of smartphones based on Tizen, the last of which was the Samsung Z4, which was released in 2017. It should be said that Tizen OS has found application in many of Samsung's electronic products, such as TVs, home appliances, or Internet of things devices. However, developers have not been able to realize the full potential of the platform in smartphones, mainly due to poor app support.
