Garmin has introduced a robust Garmin Instinct smart watch with GPS navigation, designed for outdoor activities, such as jogging or cycling on rough terrain.

The Garmin Instinct smart watch features a 3-axis compass, barometric altimeter, and heart rate sensors.

Thanks to the support of several global navigation satellite systems (GPS and Galileo), the smart watch allows you to determine the location of the user even in the most remote places. They can be used to track health indicators, including calories burned, sleep and stress. There are also many pre-installed sports apps and a Garmin TracBack feature that allows you to route back through your saved track.



The case of the smart watch is made of durable fiber-reinforced polymer, the display, according to the company, is chemically strengthened and scratch-resistant. The device complies with military standards (MIL-STD-810G) for resistance to impact, temperature and water resistance - they will withstand water at a depth of 100 m.

The battery life of the device in smart watch mode is up to 14 days, in GPS navigation mode-up to 16 hours, and up to 40 hours — in UltraTrac mode, which periodically turns off the GPS receiver to save battery power.
