The N7 made its debut in April and received 10,569 pre-orders within seven days, as announced by the company on April 24th. Denza stated that the N7 will offer two front panel design options, distinguished by the styling of the daytime running lights beneath the headlights—one option will feature a straight LED line, while the other will have a patterned design. The Denza N7 is a 5-seater vehicle based on the BYD e-platform 3.0, with dimensions of 4860 x 1935 x 1602 mm and a wheelbase of 2940 mm. In terms of size, it falls between the BMW X4 and BMW X6. Its curb weight reaches 2,440 kg. The rear-wheel-drive variant is equipped with a single synchronous electric motor with a power output of 313 hp, while the all-wheel-drive version adds a front motor, resulting in a maximum power output of 523 hp. The N7 will only have one battery option with a capacity of 91.39 kWh, providing a range of 702 km (CLTC) for the front-wheel-drive version and 630 km for the all-wheel-drive version. The battery can be charged for 350 km of range in 15 minutes or 100 km in 4 minutes using dual charging. Dual charging means that two independent charging cables are connected to the vehicle. Additionally, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging is supported, allowing users to charge other vehicles using the N7 or power their homes (V2H). The CEO of Denza stated that the charging power can reach 60 kW. The N7 has its own operating system and will support updates of the Huawei HarmonyOS. It is also equipped with the BYD DiSus-A adaptive suspension system. The new creation by BYD and Mercedes-Benz allows for charging other vehicles, supports simultaneous dual cable charging, and can power an entire home. The Denza N7 will be released in July. | |
