| On the website Bluetooth SIG appeared information about the new flagship Snapdragon processor for mobile devices, which is preparing to release the company Qualcomm. The chip previously tagged as Snapdragon 855. But according new info in the commercial market, this product may appear under the designation Snapdragon 8150. The Bluetooth SIG certification confirms this information. On the Bluetooth SIG website, the new processor is listed under the designation SM8150. It is claimed to support wireless Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy (LE). Moreover, the Design Name line indicates wcn3998-0. This cipher hides a next-generation Wi-Fi chip with support for 802.11 ax, or Wi-Fi 6. Today it is known that the new processor will be manufactured using 7-nanometer technology. The chip will be able to work with the Snapdragon X50 5g modem, which will provide support for fifth-generation mobile networks.
