ASUS has introduced a new flagship video card ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. The novelty can rightly be called not only the most productive graphics card in the range of ASUS, but also one of the most productive versions of GeForce RTX 2080 Ti in the world.

ASUS ROG Matrix series graphics cards have always been characterized by maximum factory overclocking and efficient cooling systems, and the novelty is no exception. ASUS ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti received a rather unusual cooling system Infinity Loop. In fact, it is a maintenance-free liquid cooling system, which is entirely located above the Board under one casing and does not use an external radiator. That is, externally everything looks as if the video card is equipped with a conventional air cooling system.

With this cooling system, the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti takes up three expansion slots. According to the manufacturer, this cooler provides about the same cooling efficiency as the maintenance-free cooling system with a 240 mm radiator.Note also that there is a reinforcing plate on the back side of the PCB. Not without RGB-illumination, which is made in the form of thin lines on the casing and back plate.

The ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card is built on the Turing TU102 GPU in a configuration with 4352 CUDA cores. Of course, ASUS could not leave its top-end graphics card without a significant factory overclocking. GPU frequency in Boost mode was increased from 1545 to 1815 MHz, which is the highest factory overclocking for GeForce RTX 2080 Ti at the moment. As a result, the performance increased from 14.2 to 15.7 TFlops.
