Asus Enhances Performance with ROG Ally Console Update
Asus has released an update for its portable console, the ROG Ally, significantly improving its performance in energy-efficient modes.

Following the update, the console shows notable performance gains of up to 20% in many games when operating at 15W and 25W power modes. While not all games exhibit improvements, a considerable number demonstrate noticeable enhancements.

In the 9W power mode, the performance gains can be even more substantial, which is particularly advantageous as the ROG Ally previously lagged behind the less powerful Steam Deck in this mode. It is evident that the Valve console still outperforms in such a scenario, but the difference has become less critical.

Asus has successfully addressed one of the significant drawbacks of their console, making it more appealing compared to the Steam Deck, although the latter still maintains a significant advantage in terms of lower-priced variants.
