According to recent reports from Chinese media, the Foxconn factory in Zhengzhou, which is engaged in the production of the iPhone 12, is working around the clock to ensure the proper volume of deliveries of new smartphones. The company also introduced mandatory overtime work for all employees.

It is reported that employees who agreed to work in such conditions, the company will pay salary allowances of up to $1,500. Many workers were asked to cancel all plans related to the mid-autumn festival and other holidays in order to ensure the smooth operation of the factory in an enhanced mode. It is expected that the first batch of iPhone 12 will be sent to retailers on the fifth of October, as the presentation of the new family of smartphones is tentatively scheduled for October 13. The delivery dates for new devices are later than in previous years due to the global crisis associated with the coronavirus pandemic.

It is expected that at the event on October 13, Apple will present four iPhone 12 models at once. The most compact smartphone, which is rumored to be called the iPhone 12 mini, will be equipped with a 5.4-inch OLED display and will resemble the size of the iPhone 5. Two "standard" size devices will boast 6.1-inch screens, and the largest smartphone in the series will get a 6.7-inch display. It is assumed that all new iPhones will get 5G support.

Despite the manufacturer's best efforts, the 6.1 - and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro is likely to be available to users only in November.
