| While other companies timed their announcements to the launch of CES 2019, which will soon open in Las Vegas, Taiwanese manufacturer Acer, without waiting for the event, presented the TravelMate x3410 laptop. The novelty looks almost identical to other consumer laptops. Its main advantage lies in the design features. As the name suggests, the TravelMate x3410 laptop is designed for businessmen and professionals who are often on the go. Acer promises that the new representative of the TravelMate series will be a reliable "workhorse" for use on the road, because it meets the stringent requirements of the us military standard MIL-STD 810G. In particular, the individual tests that TravelMate X3410 passed included tests for resistance to high and low temperatures, mechanical shock and vibration. TravelMate X3410 in an aluminum case with a thickness of 20 mm weighs only 1.59 kg. The buyer is offered three configurations of the device. The basic TravelMate X3410 model uses an Intel Core I3-8230U processor, has 8 GB of RAM, and a 128 GB SSD. The middle class model is equipped with an Intel Core i5-8250U processor and has the same amount of RAM (8 GB) with a larger SSD capacity of 256 GB. The top model boasts an Intel Core i7-8550U processor, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD. All TravelMate X3410 models feature a 14-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution and are running Windows 10 Pro. The laptop has already gone on sale on the manufacturer's website. The cost of the basic version of TravelMate X3410 is $899.99. Models with the Intel Core i5-8250U and Core i7-8550U are offered at a price of $899,99 $1299,99 respectively. | |
